Refund policy

All items are inspected thoroughly before shipment and all purchases are considered final upon payment. We cannot accept returns for reasons of "changing of mind" or "changing of preferences."

Items can only be considered for a refund or replacement, subject to terms and conditions, if:

1. The item is purchased at regular price without any markdowns, promos, or other sale discounts.
2. The item is proven to have an inherent manufacturing defect or damage, without any damages arising from mishandling by the customer.
3. The item is in original condition, free from signs of use or any customizations. The product must be in its original packaging, with corresponding tags and boxes intact, when applicable.

Please note that items are considered in merchantable quality even if it has minor imperfections, as inherent manufacturing defects exclude the following:

1. Minor scratches, hairlines, notches and nicks, which are inevitable in any jewellery item.
2. Imperfect polishing for items with shiny surfaces.
3. Discoloration of gold items due to oxidation or exposure to chemicals.

Please also note that the following reasons cannot be accepted for return or exchange:
1. Different size desired from originally ordered
2. Damaged item due to storage or everyday use, including loose stones due to wear and tear.
3. A certain pawnshop does not accept the item. (Gold karatage of items are always guaranteed and its gold content has value)


To proceed with a return request, the following steps should be accomplished:

1.  The customer must inform us of a notice of intent to return on the day of the receipt of the item in the original destination address through our email miragejewels@gmail.com
2. A proof or purchase or receipt must also be sent with the unboxing video.
3. Please wait for our response to your return/refund request. An item can be approved for one of the following resolutions (1) Replacement, subject to price difference fees, (2) Return and refund. Please note that items sent back to us without a prior request and approval will not be accepted.
4. The item must be unused and in the original condition as you have received it, in its original packaging.
5. We will contact you for the return or refund process, please be informed that a return and refund can only be accomplished when the item has been received by us again and any costs related to shipping the item to us will not be covered.

 

Mirage Jewels Guarantee
Any item purchased from us has a 100% guarantee for its gold purity and karatage. Please note that pawn value depends on the item, pawn institution and can vary widely. Please note that some items have synthetic cubic zirconia, colored stones, onyx, spring mechanisms, and other non-gold components integral to its design which are factored into appraising pawn value. Should there be complaints with regards to the gold purity of items purchased, please present to us a valid test report from a testing institution and proof of purchase from Mirage Jewels.

 

Limitation of Liability
In the event of an approved return or refund, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item. Additional costs such as those related to shipping, opportunity costs or delays are not part of our liability.
